Boil Water Notices in place for customers on the Poulnagunogue Public Water Supply has been lifted.

However, a boil water notice for the Ballymacarbry water supply remains in place.

Following remedial works and consistent, satisfactory sampling results, the Boil Water Notice is now lifted with immediate effect on the Poulnagunogue Public Water Supply .

This decision follows consultation with the Health Service Executive (HSE).

All consumers on the Poulavonogue Public Water Supply can now resume normal water supply use for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

The Boil Water Notice was issued on 6 August to protect customers' health.
