A boil water notice in Dunhill which had been effect for over a month has now been lifted.
Following consultation with the HSE, Irish Water and Waterford City & County Council had issued a boil water notice on the Dunhill Cois Cille Public Water Supply Scheme on the 14th of July.
Irish Water and Waterford Council wish to notify consumers that following the completion of remedial works on this supply and receipt of satisfactory monitoring results, the boil water notice which has been in place is now lifted with immediate effect. This decision follows consultation undertaken with the HSE.
All consumers on the Dunhill Cois Cille Public Water Supply Scheme can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
Irish Water, Waterford Council and the HSE Water Local Liaison Group will continue to meet and review ongoing process control, monitoring and testing of the drinking water supply.
