Planning permission is being sought from Waterford City and County Council for the construction of 12 new homes in the Ballinroad area.
The application was lodged with the local authority on September 11th by T & M Fitzgerald Ltd.
The applicant seeks to construct six three-bed houses and five one-bed houses, as well as a five-bed community dwelling.
Permission is also sought for new entrances for both pedestrians and motorists via the existing Cul Na Cille estate and all associated site works.

A decision is expected on or before November 5th 2024.
