The 105th Dungarvan Show takes place at Ballygagin today.
An Taoiseach Simon Harris is expected to attend this afternoon.
Show Secretary Frances Carroll told WLR News that holding the show on a Sunday has brought many benefits.
"We've been there now for 15 years and we're indebted to the landowners who allow us to put on the show every year. We couldn't hold a show without that site. Holding the show on a Sunday also allows volunteers and people to be more readily available on a Sunday."
The show attracts thousands each year to the Ballygagin site outside Dungarvan.
The Show will host a tented village area which will include the Home Industries Tent featuring an array of Flowers, Vegetables, Homemade Jams, Cakes and Pastries, Arts and Crafts, and Photography exhibits.
Special attractions this year will include a Vintage Car and Farm machinery display as well as a Tractor Pulling event which has proved to be very popular over the last few years.
WLR will be broadcasting live from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
