Tramore Amusement Park is set to open in conjunction with the town's St Patrick's Day Celebrations.
The parade at the seaside town makes its return along with Waterford city, and this year's theme will be 'Together Again'.
While local man James Power from the international 'Stage Mad' Theatre company will be the Grand Marshall.
Chair of the Tramore St.Patrick's Day Parade Committee Johnny O'Grady says they're delighted to acknowledge James on the day.
"Every year we try to pick something from the community and they might not be the most well known, but they contribute to the locality.
"This year the Grand Marshall will be James Power from the 'Stage Mad' Theatre company, who is from Kennedy Park in Tramore.
"He travels around the world with the company but always mentions that he's from Tramore and brings things back to the town," Johnny said.
Meanwhile, kids and 'big kids' may be happy to hear that the amusements will open from 12pm, and Johnny hopes it will be a real family day out.
"The amusements are opening in conjunction with the parade at around midday so we are hoping that the day will be good and the weather will be fine.
"It will be a real family day out in Tramore, the parade will be one aspect of it but there's also the restaurants, tearooms, the beach, the amusements, the fun park and much more," he said.
The Tramore St.Patrick's Day Parade will get underway at 1.30pm, starting at the Cannons Field Car Park.
