Longford has the lowest number of pupils in primary schools at 57, while Monaghan has the least amount enrolled in secondary schools with just 30.

Current data indicates an enrolment rate of 92% among Ukrainian children aged 5-18.

To help with the transition of these children and their families, Regional Education and Language Teams continue to operate.

They're hosted by the 16 regional education and training boards around the country.

These teams are ensuring that clear, accessible information flows are in place between schools, local education support services and national support structures in relation to people arriving from Ukraine.

The Department stated it will continue to publish figures on the enrolment of Ukrainian children each month.
