Tributes have been pouring in for former secretary of the Waterford Hurling team Jim Dee who passed away yesterday.
Jim served as secretary to the team under 5 different managers.
As a mark of respect club activities have been postponed, including our senior hurling match against Clonea.

Current county board chairman Paddy Joe Ryan has described him as a stalwart of the GAA in Waterford and said he carried out his job with dedication; "he served for so many years doing Secretary to the Senior hurling team, that was his last official function and that was for fifteen years which was unbelievable, he made sure that everything was in tip top shape for the County board".

Former Déise hurler Dan Shanahan says that Jim Dee will be fondly remembered by the Waterford players.
Dan always enjoyed his company; What a respected man he was with the players, the players absolutely loved him, he was a fantastic man and they're fond memories"

As a mark of respect to Jim Dee, Dungarvan's clash with Clonea in the County Senior hurling Championship has been postponed and will now take place on Sunday @ 12 Noon in Fraher Field.
The Round 3 action commences this evening in Fraher Field, De La Salle can seal their place in the Quarter-Final stages if they beat Ballyduff Upper.
