Waterford is the 10th most huggable City in Europe.
That's according to Lifeladder.com, who revealed the findings from February’s #worldhugathon challenge.
Designed to help everyone, everywhere become more connected and boost their wellbeing during the pandemic this February by sending virtual hugs around the world, the campaign’s strapline stated an ambitious objective, ‘one million hugs – one world – one month’.
By the end of February the campaign had reached a total of 89 countries around the world and six out of the seven continents but it was the UK, the USA and Ireland that dominated the top of the leader board.
According to the online personal development platform, Ireland is the second most huggable country in Europe.
While Dublin took the top-spot for Europe's most huggable city.
Meanwhile, Adam King's "Hug For You" fundraising cards are back on sale ahead of Mother's Day this weekend.
Adam's "virtual hug" won the hearts of audiences during last year's Late Late Toy Show.
The cards, which were originally released for Valentines Day, raised 250 thousand euro for Temple Street Children's Hospital and Cork University Hospital Charity.
