Due to demand, Garth Brooks has added extra dates, September 11th, 16th and 17th, to his run of gigs at Croke Park in 2022. The singer will now do five nights at GAA HQ.
Tickets for the country star's gigs on September 9th and 10th went on sale this morning, with queues of people logging onto to get their hands on some.
Earlier this morning, Aiken Promotions announced that the Tomorrow Never Comes hitmaker was adding September 11th to his schedule, and tickets for that performance are on sale now.
A short time later, the promoters confirmed that an additional two dates, September 16th and 17th were also added due to the huge demand for tickets.
After much speculation, Garth Brooks confirmed last week that he'd play Croke Park in September.
Tickets went on sale Ticketmaster this morning at 8am, amidst much speculation that a third date would be added.
Brooks controversially cancelled his bookings at Croker in 2014. Back then, residents objected to a five night run of gigs, leading Brooks to pull out and disappointing thousands of fans. The situation turned into something of a national controversy, with the singer going as far as asking the then Taoiseach Enda Kenny to intervene.
Earlier this year, officials at Croke Park lodged a planning compliance submission with a view to holding concerts on the 9th, 10th and 11th September 2022.
