Following the events of 2022’s The Batman, Oz Cobb (a.k.a. The Penguin) is attempting to seize control over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Colin Farrell stars as the titular character, reprising his role from The Batman.
- The Bear (HULU/DISNEY+) – 20 million hours watched
The third season of The Bear continues the story of Carmy Berzatto, an award-winning chef who returns to his hometown of Chicago to manage the chaotic kitchen of his recently deceased brother’s failing sandwich shop.
- Griselda (NETFLIX) – 20.6 million viewers / 113.8 million hours watched
Sophia Vergara stars in this biographical crime drama as Griselda Blanco, one of the most ruthless drug lords in history, and her rise to power in the 1980s Miami drug trade underworld after fleeing her home in Colombia.
- American Nightmare (NETFLIX) – 21.4 million viewers
This true-crime docuseries covers the 2015 kidnapping of Denise Huskins from the home she shared with her boyfriend and the couple’s accusation by authorities of staging the ordeal after Huskins’ reappearance.
- The Gentlemen (NETFLIX) – 134 million hours watched
Netflix’s The Gentlemen is a spinoff of Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film by the same name. The series follows the aristocratic Eddie, who unexpectedly inherits his family’s 15 thousand-acre estate, which he discovers to be the home of a huge weed empire, whose proprietors are not going anywhere.

An astrophysicist working on a secret military base racing to make first contact with aliens in 1960s China makes a choice that impacts humanity’s future. In the present day, a series of mysterious suicides and unexplainable phenomena in London sparks an investigation into an extraterrestrial mystery. This is the first English adaptation, with all previous versions released exclusively in Mandarin.
- Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (PEACOCK/NETFLIX) - 44 million viewers / 319.9 million hours watched
The second standalone season of the anthology series Monsters centres on the murders of José and Kitty Menendez by their sons Lyle and Erik. Most of the story is being told from the perspective of the brothers. Creator Ryan Murphy is best known for his work on shows such as Glee, American Horror Story, and many more.
- Bridgerton (NETFLIX) – 91.9 million views
Season three of Bridgerton follows Penelope Featherington, played by Derry Girls actress Nicola Coughlan, as she blossoms into London high society, and follows her romance with suitor Colin Bridgerton. The first four episodes released on May 16, with the highly anticipated remaining four released on June 13.
- Fool Me Once (NETFLIX) – 98 million viewers / 630 million hours watched
In this British thriller miniseries, Maya is given a nanny cam by a friend to watch over her daughter, Lily, following the murder of her husband Joe. However, after watching the footage she sees Joe, presumed dead, visiting their daughter. Meanwhile, Maya’s niece and nephew try to uncover the truth about the murder of their mother and investigate connections between the two cases.
- Baby Reindeer (NETFLIX) – 252 million viewers / 1.7 billion hours watched
The British comedy-drama thriller had everyone talking this year. Baby Reindeer follows aspiring comedian Donny Dunn (based on creator and star Richard Gadd’s own true story) and his warped relationship with an obsessive female stalker, whose actions force him to face a deep, dark repressed trauma.
