The overall award went to Mangans of Wexford, a traditional fish and chip shop in Wexford Town.

The Yes Chef Irish Takeaway Awards have been running since 2019. Following the event on Monday night, Director Nicci Smith said:

It’s hard to believe that when we held our first Takeaway Awards in 2019, little did we know what lay ahead for us; and the challenges that would face the industry. I’m proud to say that the people who joined us tonight helped to sustain Irish people through some of the toughest times they have faced.
