The Late Late Show has a great line up for us tonight, such as president Michael D. Higgins, actress Kathy Bates, rugby captain Johnny Sexton, and music sensation Imelda May are the among guests on tonight's show.

President Michael D. Higgins turns 80 this Sunday, Ryan will be visiting Áras an Uachtaráin to wish him a happy birthday. The president will also reflect on his hopes for Irelands future.

The Academy Award-winning Kathy Bates will be on the show. She is famous for her performances in American Horror Story, Misery, Titanic, and P.S. I Love You. She will discuss her new role in The Miracle Club, which she is due to film in Dublin with Maggie Smith and Laura Linney.The film will follow the journey of a group of riotous working-class women from Dublin, whose pilgrimage to Lourdes in France.

Ireland rugby captain Johnny Sexton will be chatting about his chances of making the Lions team, the return of Simon Zebo to Munster, and lending his support to DEBRA Ireland, which was set up in 1988 by families living with the painful, genetic skin condition epidermolysis bullosa (EB).

Claudia Scanlon, who has EB, will be joined by her mother Liz to speak to Ryan about living with the condition and thriving against the odds.

Singer Imelda May will perform her song Don't Let Me Stand on My Own, with Niall McNamee, from her new album 11 Past the Hour.

Tonight we get to hear the debut TV performance of Crybaby, a collaboration between Noel Hogan of The Cranberries and actress and singer Bronagh Gallagher.

The Late Late Show, is on RTÉ One Friday, April 16th at 9.35pm.
