Take a break with "Twitter Thursday"

Every Thursday on Ollie's "Spin Home" he teams up with Sean Defoe for a light hearted look at twitter. On this weeks show they discussed....

Neighbours.

Just about everyone has a memory of the t.v. show Neighbours but it's all coming to an end.

The future of the show had been in doubt after UK channel Channel 5 last month confirmed it would stop airing the show. The show aired on RTÉ in Ireland.

The show’s Twitter account said: “We are so sorry to say that after nearly 37 years and almost 9,000 episodes broadcast we have to confirm that Neighbours will cease production in June.

“Following the loss of our key broadcast partner in the UK and despite an extensive search for alternative funding, we simply have no option but to rest the show.

Wheel of Fortune.

Continuing a long series of controversial on air moments, Tuesday night’s "Wheel of Fortune" episode has social media watchdogs barking about the show’s “dumbest moment ever.”

However, longtime show host Pat Sajak has since taken issue with the vitriol that has been aimed at contestants — tweeting that “it’s okay to laugh” but also telling haters to “cut them some slack” and “have a little heart.”

The frustrating episode featured three contestants taking a whopping eight turns and 10 attempts to solve the puzzle: “Another feather _n yo_r _a_”

While the correct answer was simply “Another feather in your cap,” the players took several tries to get there — and it left viewers very frustrated.

Have a listen below and see what you think about all of these strange goings on...
