Prince Charles and Camilla are expected to arrive in Tipperary on a visit to the Premier County next month.
The Irish Examiner reports that while no formal announcement has been made by Buckingham Palace, it's understood the British Embassy has been scoping out locations.
If the visit to Tipperary happens, it will be the first to the county by a member of the Royal Family since Queen Elizabeth II's historic trip in 2011, when she went to the Rock of Cashel as part of her itinerary.
Where will Prince Charles visit in Tipperary?
Local Councillor Mairín McGrath told the Irish Examiner that there's a buzz around Cahir, with rumours abounding that Cahir Castle is earmarked as one of the sites that Charles and Camilla will take in on their visit.
Will the Royals come to Waterford?
Meanwhile, on WLR's Déise Today with Damien Tiernan today, he speculated as to whether, when they're in neighbouring Tipperary, Charles and Camilla would extend the trip to include Waterford?
Whether the Royals do come to Tipperary, and take in The Déise, remains to be seen. The last time Charles and Camilla came to Waterford was 2004, when they visited Lismore.
