Pop star and Dancing with the Stars champion Jake Carter was in studio with Geoff on WLR's The Lunch Box.
The Sink or Swim hitmaker spoke about his upcoming gig in Wexford, and told Geoff that it's great to be back out and about after almost two years of doing online or phone interviews.
Jake's upcoming gigs
Jake plays Gorey Little Theatre on Saturday October 30th. He hopes to include the Theatre Royal Waterford in his full tour which will take place in 2022.
In conversation with Geoff, Jake said he's been very busy with songwriting during the Pandemic. He said he enjoyed the first few months of lockdown; he lived in Enniskillen with his girlfriend Karen, and country star brother Nathan. However, Jake said as time went by, he became keen to get back gigging.
He also spoke about doing Ultimate Hell Week RTE One, shot at an old army barracks in Cork. "It was an amazing experience, don't get me wrong but would I do it again? Definitely not!"
