Today marks the last of the four-day Comeraghs Wild Festival but it is certainly not the least in terms of things to do.
The event kicked off on Thursday the 7th with Eddie Lenihan telling tales in Nell’s Farmhouse & Heritage Centre at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains.
Today there is lots to look forward to.
The day will begin with some surfing at Bunmahon Surf School at 9:30am. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
At the same time, a Coumshingaun Loop Walk will be taking place.
It is expected to take four hours, during which you will take in the Coumshingaun Corrie Lake and the surrounding mountains. These form a natural amphitheater.
From 10-11, there will be Magical Morning Mindfulness, Meditation, and Yoga in Crough Wood near Mahon Falls. The class will be run by Claire O'Sullivan, an adult and children mindfulness and yoga teacher.
The class is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
Another one for the kids is an outdoor performance of Cinderella. This will take place at Curraghmore House & Gardens in Portlaw at 4pm. Tickets are available via Garter Lane.
To bring the festival to a close, Seamus O’Rourke will be performing his newest creation and one-man show 'The Handyman' at Clonea Power's old school building. Tickets for the show are available via Eventbrite.
The Comeragh Mountains region takes in the Copper Coast and Nire Valley, a varied natural terrain that includes parts of the award-winning Waterford Greenway.
