WLR are proud to present this hour long documentary on the life and work of Dr Paddy Condon, a former Consultant Ophthalmologist at UHW, who helped to establish the charity Fight For Sight devoted to the prevention of sight loss.
The Irish Fight for Sight Campaign was a Waterford charity that changed the face of eye care in Ireland and overseas. Founded in June 1984, Fight for Sight raised more than €2.5 Million for medical equipment and educational programs and made an unparalleled contribution to the promotion of eye protection in Ireland.
Produced by Jim Nolan and narrated by Clodagh Power, this documentary is the inspiring story of a Waterford doctor’s unswerving conviction that prevention really is better than cure.
