After much speculation, Garth Brooks has announced that he'll play concerts at Croke Park on September 9th and 10th 2022.

Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster next Thursday November 25th at 8am.

The Friends in Low Places singer controversially cancelled his bookings at Croker in 2014. Back then, residents objected to a five night run of gigs, leading Brooks to pull out and disappointing thousands of fans. The situation turned into something of a national controversy, with the singer going as far as asking the then Taoiseach Enda Kenny to intervene.

Earlier this year, officials at Croke Park lodged a planning compliance submission with a view to holding concerts on the 9th, 10th and 11th  September 2022.
