People in Waterford are being told to carefully check tickets after one player came to within just one lucky star number of the €41.2 million jackpot on offer in last night’s EuroMillions draw.
The Waterford player matched five numbers and one lucky star to win €181,892 in Tuesday night’s draw.

The winning Normal Play Euromillions ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at the Number 21 store on the Tyrone Road in Lismore Park, Waterford.

The winning numbers for last night’s draw were: 12, 15, 20, 42, 44 and the lucky stars were 01, 02.

What should the Waterford winner do?

The winner, who now has a ticket worth €181,892, is advised to sign the back of it and to keep it in a safe place.

The winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

Tonight’s draw will see the Lotto jackpot remain capped at over €19 million for an eighth time.  The funds that would have usually gone to the jackpot will now be distributed to the next prize tier with a winner.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.

In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago.
