Deliveroo, the food delivery company, has teamed up with global coffee company Starbucks to offer a home delivery partnership across a number of counties including Waterford.
The partnership means Deliveroo customers can now order their Starbucks drinks and items from the food menu, to arrive at their homes.
To coincide with the launch, Deliveroo commissioned research into the coffee drinking habits of the Irish population.
In a survey conducted by Censuswide of 1,000 people, the data revealed:
- 23% of the Irish population drink coffee more than once a day
- Oat (5%) and almond (5%) are the the favourite plant-based milk alternatives to enjoy with coffee
- Per capita, the province in Ireland which drinks the most coffee is Munster, followed by Leinster and Connaught, with Ulster consuming the least amount of coffee
- The favourite coffee tipple of Irish customers is a cappuccino (22%) closely followed by a latte (18%)
The partnership with Starbucks is the latest update in Deliveroo’s continued growth plans in Ireland. Paddy Quinlan, Regional Manager for Deliveroo Ireland said

Customers will be able to access Starbucks Delivers through the Deliveroo app (available on iOS and Android devices) and via deliveroo.ie.
