A Classic Car Show takes place in Waterford this weekend.
The free event on July 9th will showcase cars, vans, motorcycles, scooters, and farm machinery from 10:30am.
It aims to give the public insight into the process of restoring a vintage car. This year will be the first that vintage tractors will be included in the showcase.
The vehicles on display will be a celebration of the work completed by people who participated in the WWETB Classic Car Restoration Course, or the Agricultural Mechanics Apprenticeship.
Motoring enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their own classic vehicle on the day as there will be a 'Best of Show' trophy up for grabs.
Shay Cummins, Assistant Manager at the Waterford Training Centre, said:
"We are excited to welcome everyone back and see lots of new faces for this fun day out appreciating the finest in classic car restoration work and some incredible motors too."
The event will take place from 10:30am-1:30pm at the Waterford Training Centre in the Industrial Estate.
About the Classic Car Restoration course
Over 200 people have taken part in the course, which was launched in 2016, and is the only one of its kind in the country.
Recent participants will be awarded their certificates at the event in July.
The Agricultural Mechanics Apprenticeship is a four-year Level Six apprenticeship, where participants gain qualifications in fault-finding, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of farm tractors and farm machinery. The Waterford Training centre is the only one in the country to deliver agricultural mechanic apprenticeships.
