Healthy fast food chain Chopped has opened its newest outlet in City Square Shopping Centre in Waterford City.
The company announced earlier in 2017 that they're to open 20 new stores nationwide, including an outlet in Waterford. They also plan to expand into the UK for the first time, creating 320 full and part time jobs.
The company began in Ireland, opening their first store on Baggot Street in Dublin in May 2012. The concept for the business was developed by Brian Lee and Andy Chen who aimed to provide fresh and nutritious food, served quickly over the counter. The name Chopped derives from the unique way of preparing food using a mezzaluna knife.
City Square Shopping Centre shared the first look of the new store on Twitter earlier today.
