Festival gates for the All Together Now festival at the Curraghmore Estate in Portlaw open at midday today.
Gardai will be managing the traffic and access to the festival.
A number of colour coded routes have been identified and festival goers are advised to familiarise themselves with them (all the details below).
Sergeant Alan Kissane from Kilmacthomas Garda Station says they don't expect any major traffic jams, as traffic will be spread out over the day. Only one road is closed, the Clonegam Road in Portlaw.
A free shuttle service will bring festivalgoers from the centre of Portlaw to the festival site. This will run until midnight daily and festival goers who are not camping for the 3 nights are advised to use this, as multiple entry to the car parks is not permitted.
Sgt Kissane says that gardaí will maintain high visibility through the weekend and a special hotline has been set up for any issues in relation to the festival. The number is 051-391629.
