For anyone interested in clothes and culture, a great free event takes place this Friday (March 23rd) at The Tower Hotel Waterford.
Fashion Design Students at Waterford VTOS on Parnell Street are putting on their Graduate Show - "Around the World in 9 Collections." It will celebrate the cultural diversity of the students on this course, who hail from Waterford, Dublin, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Estonia and China. Guest MC for the night is Karen Morrissey, Fashion Stylist from Kilkenny. It's a free event and all are welcome.
Mary was joined "On the Fringe", by two of the students, Catherine Gannon and Michelle Lynagh, who outlined how they design and make the clothes themselves; from sketching the outfits to sourcing the fabrics and physically making the bespoke clothes.
