A glow run will take place in the WIT arena at the end of this month in aid of Pieta house.
The unique event is being organised by seven transition year students from St Angela's Secondary School in conjunction with the WIT Arena.
It's a 4 kilometre fun run, open to all, followed by music and refreshments.
Tickets are on sale now and cost €15.
16 year old Emma Selmia is one of the students organising the event. She says they will have glow in the dark neon paint which they will throw at people as they run around the course, lighting up the WIT arena.
The teenager says depression and suicide is an issue for many in her peer group, and that's why the work of Pieta House is so important:
"Pieta House is such a great cause and a lot of people in my school have been affected by suicide and everything that comes along with it so it's a cause we really want to support".
