Dataworks Waterford is currently seeking a HR Lead to join its team in the Six Cross Roads Business Park.

Job Description
A Permanent, Hybrid, exciting opportunity which is based in Waterford City
2-3 years’ experience in a similar HR role is necessary.
Responsibility for working with the entire team ensuring all elements of the employee lifecycle is handled efficiently. Responsible for all HR activities and for the development of the Dataworks culture of being a Great Place To Work.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Delivery of professional and efficient HR administration service to the business,
- Provision of first level advice on HR related queries to line managers in accordance with policies and procedures;
- Adherence to all HR policies and procedures;
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including liaising with managers, applicants, colleges and or agencies where necessary
- Coordinate training and employee development courses and maintain records of same;
- To support HR led projects and activities including employee relations processes as necessary
- Development and updating of all relevant HR documentation including contracts, job descriptions etc.
- Ongoing review and implementation of best practice HR processes to ensure full legal compliance
- Responsibility for training and supporting managers on employee life cycle including staff meetings, performance management etc.
- Ensure that ER issues are proactively managed and closed out in a timely manner
- Supporting the management team to identify training and development opportunities where necessary
- Organise Social / Staff events, initiatives etc.
- Lead our Innovation process
- Other ad-hoc duties as required as specified by Senior Management
- Keep up to date on the internal procedures of the company
Skills & Qualifications
• L8 in Human Resource Management or other relevant experience
• Self-Motivated
• Strong organisational skills
• Professionalism in a confident manner when dealing with all staff
• Knowledge of Employment law and HR
• Appetite to learn quickly
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal English communication is essential.
