Job Details:
You will be an important part of depot operations and a key player in keeping the workshop productive, meaning, power equipment is always available for our customers to ensure their experience with us is positive and we continue to be the best hire company in the industry.
You will take part in our structured four-year training programme. During this time you will be trained by our extremely knowledgeable and experienced colleagues along with attending college.
Programme Overview:
- Completion of a Level 6 Construction Plant Fitting apprenticeship training programme
When you are not in college completing your formal qualifications, you will be based in Waterford full time learning from our experienced engineers and practicing your skills ready to be signed off as a fully qualified engineer at the end of Year 4.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for apprentices who:
- Are ambitious, driven and willing to learn and develop
- Are comfortable attending learning placements at other sites in the country and learning both on the job and in a classroom/practical learning environment
- Have a natural interest in machinery, mechanics and electrics
- Are comfortable working at a height
- Can be team players
- Adapt to a fast-paced working environment
- Show good communication skills
- Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
- Driver's License would be an advantage

**You must hold a Junior Cert with a minimum of 5 passes or Leaving Certificate with a minimum of 3 passes or equivalent qualifications as approved on the European Qualifications Framework**
