There is a new Plant Nursery & Garden Centre in Abbey Rd, Ferrybank run by the refugee members of the New Community Mens Shed.
They have a wide range of Perennial Plants at €2 each and also offer a Gardening Maintenance- Hedge Trimming - Power Washing Service
It is staffed by older members who have found it difficult to find and keep employment .
Open every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday morning from 9 to 1 pm.
