An illustrated lecture by Cormac Lowth on the History of the RNLI in Ireland on Thursday 10th of October at 8pm at the Haven Hotel in Dunmore East.

As part of celebrating 200 years of the RNLI, Dunmore East RNLI us for an insightful talk by Cormac F. Lowth, exploring the RNLI's history in Ireland. From its humble beginnings in Arklow to the modern high-tech lifeboats of today, discover the stories of shipwrecks, heroic rescues, and the evolution of the RNLI.

Cormac will share rare images, including photographs, charts, and paintings, and recount the bravery of the lifeboat crews and the awards they’ve received.

All are welcome. Arrive early to secure a seat. Free event, all donation to Dunmore East RNLI welcome.
