WLR have teamed up with McDonald's on the Cork Road to celebrate their 25th birthday this Thursday. But what was going on all those years ago ?
Ahh 1994 !The Lion King enthralled children worldwide, while Pulp Fiction and Forrest Gump entertained the adults.
At home, led by Tony Browne, Waterford won the first ever U-21 Hurling final.
And we munched into our first ever Big Mac when McDonald's golden arches opened on The Cork Road.
McDonald’s is a great supporter of Waterford by employing 120 people.
They support local charities and initiatives including Waterford Rotary Cycle for Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Grouplink, The Solas Run for Life, Gaultier Camogie Team, Waterford FC, and many more.

All week on The Drive Home, Teresanne has been playing the Mc Donald’s 25th Birthday Quiz.
The 5 qualifiers will be at McDonald's on the day to compete to win a €250 travel voucher by taking in part in one of our fun mini games.
We’ve also got 2 tickets to the Charity Shield on Sunday 4th August to give away to someone in store.
There are loads of family meal vouchers up for grabs in store and on-air.
