Waterford woman Jeni Pim, who lost her husband Nigel to Covid-19 earlier this month, will speak to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show tonight about the impact this devastating loss has had on her family. Jeni spoke openly about her late husband this week on Deise Today with Damien Tiernan, you can listen back to that interview here. She is now encouraging everyone to do their part to reduce the spread of the virus.
Also on the show tonight Ryan will sit down with former FBI director James Comey. He was fired from the role of FBI head by Donald Trump and a mini series on his experience was made by Showtime with Jeff Daniels as Comey and Dublin's Brendan Gleeson as Donald Trump.
Tubridy will also be joined by author Lisa Lawlor to discuss the loss of both her parents in the Stardust nightclub fire, as we approach the 40th anniversary of the Valentine's Day tragedy, speaking about her new book, Stardust Baby.
There is another Waterford connection to tonight's show as Waterford based Edel Fox, one of the organisers of the John Dwyer Trad Fest, will appear alongside Donny Lummy, Frankie Gavin and Zoe Conway to showcase trad music.
