If you are struggling with the boredom of the Coronavirus Lockdown, we are here to bring you some musical entertainment thanks to local musicians.

Every evening on WLR's social media we will be bringing you some local musical talent to get you through the monotony of the Coronavirus restrictions.

We want to hear from Waterford musicians, bands, singers, as well as anyone who has a passion for entertaining.

This time he is teaming up with legendary musical theatre singer and actress Elaine Paige. The pair duet on Elaine's famous song "I know Him So Well" from the musical Chess

Retrophonics are a two piece from Dungarvan who do cover versions of 80's hits. Listen to their version of Simple Mind's "Don't You Forget About Me".

Watch this video by members of the Harmania Indie Choir, recorded while practising social distancing. The choir are based in Waterford and have been on the go for the past 4 years, rehearsing each week in The Reg.
The video has already been viewed over 80,000 times and has also been used to promote World Ovarian Cancer Day #PowerfulVoices campaign.

Well known Musician Don Mescal has long had a love affair with Waterford, from the early days of playing in The Vic in Tramore and Mother McHughs in Fenor, to recently recording a song with Mount Sion Choir.

Here he performs a special acoustic rendition of "Sunset Of Gold" for WLR listeners.
