A short film commissioned by Garter Lane Arts Centre during lockdown in response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been released.
The 6 minute film shows two characters dealing with isolation during lockdown and breaking barriers to reach out to one another.
Written and directed by Liam Meagher, the film "Far Away Still" was shot on location in Poleberry in Waterford city.
Garter Lane say "It would not have been possible without the complete cooperation of its two young actors Charlie Meagher and Gemma Fitzgerald who were fully compliant with social distancing restraints during its making."
