Last night viewers in the US tuned in to the debate between current Vice President Mike Pence and Vice President hopeful Kamala Harris. But what was being said during the debate was only one of the things being talked about.
A stray fly which perched for over two minutes on the cropped white head of Mike Pence, briefly took centre stage.
The insect distracted viewers from talk of taxes and Covid-19 with many pouncing on social media to comment on its arrival, rather that the pointers being debated.
