The 4 Of Us shot to fame the late 1980s and early 1990s with their debut album Songs for the Tempted, from which their single "Mary" was released, becoming one of the most played songs on Irish radio in 1989.
The album went double platinum in Ireland and even beat U2's Rattle and Hum to win Best Album of the Year at the Irish Music Awards.
By name, you'd assume there are 4 in the band, and there used to be! But of the four founding
members, only brothers Brendan and Declan Murphy remain part of the group.
They're playing Waterford's Theatre Royal on Friday, July 28th. Ahead of the gig, they popped in to Teresanne for a chat and a few songs on The Drive Home Live Sessions. The lads performed their new single 'Going South' and a cracking cover of Girls Aloud's Sound of the Underground.
