Matrix 4 starts filming in San Francisco

It has been rumoured that it is happening for so long now that fans of The Matrix series were starting to think it may never happen, however this week there have been a number of sightings of stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss reprising the roles of Neo and Trinity in The Matrix 4.

The movie is being directed by Lana Wachowski who, along with her sister, Lilly Wachowski, directed and wrote all three of the previous films.

Alongside the returning Reeves and Moss, as well as Jada Pinkett-Smith, new cast members for the movie include Mindhunter star Jonathan Groff, Aquaman's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris, Iron Fist's Jessica Henwick and Sense8's Toby Onwumere.

In videos shared on social media this week, stunt doubles can be seen jumping off a building while Reeves and Moss are seen riding on a motorcycle.
