Never, Ever Drink and Drive...
That's the message Rapid Cabs and WLR have for drivers in Waterford this year.
Last year, Rapid Cabs brought over 93,000 people home safely over the Christmas period. Following the success of last year’s campaign, Rapid Cabs have signed on once again to support this message since it is just as relevant as ever.
Rapid Cabs CEO Eric O’Brien shares,
“In our industry we see it all. We have invested heavily over the past few years in technology that makes our service better and safer for the customer, but you cannot allow for the human factor. It’s a simple message, never ever drink and drive, and if you are celebrating over Christmas be careful as you might still be over the limit the next morning. Waterford City does not differ from any large urban environment, it is no safer or more dangerous that any City, but people need to plan their night out, and that includes getting home.”

Rapid Cabs will have 120 cars on the road in December.
They also expect to transport nearly 90,000 people this month so party goers will have no reason not to plan a safe way of getting home this holiday season.
