Bros at Live at the Marquee - Wednesday June 26th

Matt & Luke Goss performed their comeback after nearly 30 years last year at two sold out O2 London Arena shows. Before that they had not played together since 77,000 packed into Wembley Stadium on 19 August 1989.

BROS have been riding high from the success of the movie BROS: After the Screaming Stops, which was a runaway Christmas success after it was shown on BBC.

Propelled by their classic smash hit ‘When Will I Be Famous’, BROS ruled the world from 1987-1992. During that time, they rewrote the pop history books.

The Academic at Live at the Marquee - Thursday June 27th

Making waves across the world in 2018 one of Ireland's biggest success stories over the last couple of years, The Academic will embark on their biggest Cork show to date this summer headlining Live At The Marquee on 27 June. There aren’t that many bands who can so easily epitomise the very definition of modern youth within their music, however, as the success of indie pop-rock group The Academic demonstrate, it is indeed possible.

Releasing their debut album ‘Tales From The Backseat’ in 2018, it reached No1 in the Official Irish Album Charts, received a Choice Music Prize Nomination for album of the year and saw them enter the US Billboard Chart as well has being album of the week on BBC Radio 1. 2018 also saw the band’s smash their largest tour to date, selling out shows right across the US, Europe and the UK not to mention opening for The Rolling Stones in Croke Park and playing one of the most talked about gigs last summer at the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.

Craig Fitzgerald says, "Cork has always felt like a home from home for us so to now headline Live At The Marquee is going to be one of the most special nights we have had as a band. It's an incredible venue and we are beyond excited for the show."

Tash Sultana at Live at the Marquee - Wednesday July 3rd

Tash Sultana is a dynamic young artist who has commanded world attention since homemade videos of Tash went viral. A true virtuoso, Tash was soon selling out massive theatres globally and playing at the world’s biggest festivals - no mean feat for an artist who just a year before was recording songs on a go pro in a bedroom.

Since Tash’s grandfather gifted a guitar at the age of three, the self-taught artist quickly developed a unique style that has people lining up to see around the globe. Tash has mastered over 15 instruments, vocals that shine with a magical quality and a live show that needs to be seen to be believed.

The one-person powerhouse started out playing open mic nights on a fake id and busking on the streets of Melbourne. Now Tash is selling out every headline show, from theatres to arenas across multiple countries and playing dozens of high-profile festivals around the globe.

Recent accolades include over 200M streams of the Notion EP, topping the iTunes chart in multiple countries, ‘Jungle’ coming in at #3 in triple j’s Hottest 100, achieving gold sales for the Notion EP and platinum sales for single ‘Jungle’ which also featured in FIFA 18, winning the prestigious unearthed j award, 4x Aria award nominations, multiple APRA nominations and most recently playing stand out sets at Coachella & Lollapalooza 2018.
