It's that time of the year again and with Santa visiting towns and cities across the country parents are faced with different entry charges.
Mary O'Neill from The Big Breakfast Blaa appeared on Déise Today this morning to discuss the cost faced by parents when bringing their kids to see Santa at various locations around the country.
Speaking about a recent article published in the Irish Daily Mail, the costs of seeing Mr Claus has risen in past years with visits now including free gifts, hot punch, pictures and even a scenic tour of the Aillwee Caves.
The most expensive place to see Santa in Ireland is in the Aillwee Caves, Co Clare at €34 per child and €16 per adult, this includes entrance to the caves and the Birds Of Prey centre, gift, hot punch and a mince pie.
Locally prices are more reasonable with visits to Santas Kingdom at Winterval only costing €16.50 per child accompanied by 2 adults and also includes an age related gift and a standard photo.
In Dungarvan Shopping Centre, parents will have to pay only €10 per child, with adults going free and it including a free gift.
