On today's show Damien Tiernan speaks to Barry and Brenda Sorenson from Tramore who each spent seven days quarantined in separate rooms in the Dunmore Wing in University Hospital Waterford. They speak emotionally about what the experience was like and tell Damien how grateful they are to be back home safe and well.

Recovering addict Ricky Ryan tells Damien about the difficulties facing addicts during quarantine, when they do not have meetings to attend, and he discusses what options there are for them.

And Fine Gael TD Patrick Donovan discusses the financial implications of the Coronavirus epidemic.

Also on the show Richard Purcell talks about the future of Mount Mellary Abbey which has, for the first time in its 190 year history, closed to visitors. He tells Damien of their plans for a 24 bed hostel for hikers and the fact that 2 new monks are joining the order later this year.

With large gatherings now banned as a result of the Coronavirus, funerals are proving to be difficult times for families of the deceased. Colin Shanahan from DigiCol is a photographer and videographer from Waterford who has started filming funerals for loved ones who cannot attend.

Also Ray McGrath from the older peoples council has details of a new "Call To Chat" initiative.
