The Déise Greenway Tour from Waterford and Suir Valley Railway

Every Friday during the month of August, the Déise Today team will be bringing you the show from a different location along the Waterford Greenway.

Tomorrow, we'll be live from the wonderful Waterford and Suir Valley Railway from 10am-12pm, all thanks to The Sweep Bar and O'Donnacha's in Kilmeaden

Waterford and Suir Valley Railway opened as a tourist attraction in 2003 offering visitors to experience a 40 minute journey on a narrow gauge train through the countryside and along the banks of the majestic River Suir. Travelling at 16km per hour, you get a glimpse in to the world famous Mount Congreve Gardens, make a wish in the magic wood and journey beside Waterford Greenway on to Carriganore. The full schedule and brochure are available here.

Former Waterford senior hurler Tony Browne will also pop in for a chat and there'll be live music from Fallaway House.

You might not leave empty handed either, we'll have voucher giveaways for both The Sweep Bar and O'Donnachas AND Waterford and Suir Valley Railway. PHEW!

Come along and join The Déise Today team at Waterford and Suir Valley Railway from 10am-12pm.
