1. Man dies in N25 crash

A man in his 60s has died in a single-vehicle collision in County Waterford. The incident happened at around 6:15am this morning on the N25 in the Ringcrehy area half a mile outside Dungarvan. The man who was driving an articulated tanker was pronounced dead at the scene.

2. BREXIT: Johnson and Van Der Leyen meet for crunch talks

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is flying to Brussels this evening for a dinner meeting with European Commission president Ursula Von Der Leyen, in a bid to secure a post-Brexit deal. Time is running out to reach a deal before 31 December, when the UK stops following EU trading rules.

3.Minister acknowledges "massive potential" of North Quays

The Minister for Housing and Local Government Darragh O’Brien visited the North Quays site today, a month after he announced €110m in state funding for the redevelopment of the 8-hectare site. He said the potential for Waterford’s North Quays is huge.

4. Waterford MEP appointed as lead negotiator

Green Party MEP Grace O’Sullivan says she is honoured to be a lead-negotiator on the 8th Environment Action Programme. These programmes have guided the development of EU environment policy since the early 1970s

5. The team of 1959 look ahead to All Ireland Final

6. All Together Now confirms first headline act for 2021 festival

UNDERWORLD will return as one of the headliners for All Together Now 2021, the organisers announced today. They say this is the first of many to be announced in the new year. Underworld cemented their place in the ’90s underground techno scene with their 1996 anthem ‘Born Slippy' from the Trainspotting soundtrack.
