Former priest, and convicted paedophile Oliver O’Grady was last week found guilty of knowingly possessing child pornography whilst living in Waterford city. Today he was sentenced to 22 months in prison at Waterford Court

3. Dungarvan GAA could be stripped of title over Covid test controversy
Waterford GAA’s management committee has proposed Dungarvan be stripped of their county intermediate football title after fielding a player awaiting a Covid test.

Over 28 acres of prime residential land in Waterford has been put on the market. The land at the Paddocks, off the Williamstown road, is for sale with a price tag of €3.25 million.

Acclaimed poet, playwright and performer Colm Keegan was commissioned to collaborate with local writers to write This is Waterford, a vibrant and contemporary literary work, as part of The Imagine Arts Festival.
