1. Debenhams workers take to picket line to mark a year since closure
A group of former Debenhams workers took to the picket line in Waterford a whole 365 days after they were told by the store they were being made redundant. They say they’ve had little to no communication from the store’s liquidators, KPMG, in the last year.
2. Walk in test centre to open in Waterford tomorrow
The centre located at the WIT complex in College Street, Waterford, will operate from 11am from to 7pm each of five days from tomorrow Saturday the 10th of April to Wednesday the 14th of April inclusive. Meanwhile Europe's drugs regulator is reviewing possible links between blood clots and Johnson and Johnson's coronavirus vaccine. The E-M-A says four serious cases have been identified in the US, one of which was fatal.
3. Sinn Fein calls for leadership as violence continues in North
Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has called for “enlightened” leadership from Unionists and for them to display “some courage” in supporting their communities which would be equalled by her party.
4. Tributes paid to Prince Philip who has died at 99
Buckingham Palace today announced the death of The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phlip at the age of 99. The Queen's husband, who she has described as her stay, passed away at Windsor Castle. President Michael D Higgins, as well as former Irish leaders have paid tribute to him. He is survived by his wife, their four children, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

5. Waterford FC travel north for Finn Harps clash
Waterford FC make the long journey to Donegal this weekend to take on Finn Harps, just a week after a similar trip to Derry last weekend. We will have full coverage of that game with thanks to McConnells Toyota with Matt Keane and Ray Scott tomorrow from 5:45pm.
