The recent general election campaign has thrown up a number of stories of candidates and politicians suffering online abuse, including Waterford Fiann Fail TD Mary Butler who has brought the matter to the Gardai. On today's show Maria (standing in for Damien Tiernan) talks to Brendan Halligan from Childrens Group Link about the abuse his brother received while a politician and how we teach our children not to do it when so many adults don't seem to know better.

Sarah Benson from Women's Aid welcomes the ruling today that a Donegal man has been convicted of the crime of coercive abuse. The man pleaded guilty to making nearly 6,000 phonecalls to his partner between March and June 2019. He made her bring her phone everywhere with her so he knew where she was. He's been jailed for 21 months.

Leslie Hughes from Laochas has details of The Warrior Soul Project which offers support and education on mental health issues.
