A Waterford City and County Councillor has said that the public has a huge "part to play" when reporting crime and "acting really fast with the 999 call."
Speaking to Eamon on anti-social behaviour Waterford City and Councillor Jim Griffin believe's that not all youths causing trouble on the prom are from Tramore.
"The prom and Tramore in this fine weather we've had is a magnet for youths and you get a certain level of anti-social behaviour in Tramore," said Cllr Griffin.
According to the Tramore Cllr, the incidents that have taken place seem to be isolated.
"In the winter nights, they start off with peoples wipers and wing mirrors on their cars being damaged, that's the kind of small end of the scale"
