At the end of 2018, Eamon Keane will leave WLR to return to his career as a therapist.
Eamon has presented Déise Today since January 2017.
On the announcement of the news, Eamon says, "I'd like to thank management, staff and especially my producer Jennifer Long, but most of all the wonderful Waterford listeners. It’s been a great journey but there is a huge demand for counselling for people in distress in Waterford and that’s where my energies will be directed.’’
Des Whelan, WLR's Managing Director says, "On behalf of everyone in WLR, I want to thank Eamon for the hard-work over the past two-years and we wish Eamon good luck for the future and much success in his career."
