On Tuesday's 'Déise Today', Damien was talking to Tony O'Donoghue who is the founder of 'My Little Big Day' which Tony claims is the alternative to the traditional 'Holy Communion'.

Tony grew up a Catholic but became disillusioned and withdrew his children from the 'Holy Communion' sacrament. He and his wife then set up the non-profit 'Little Big Day'.

Tony felt that when his son was younger, they raised him in a non-religious way but they did not want his son to be excluded from these massive ceremonies "that the rest of his friends were having". The children are allowed to dress any way they want, "if you want to wear a dress or dress any way you want, we had a Norweigan family join us, and they dressed up in traditional Norweigan clothes, all are allowed".

Tony describes it as a "humanist service which began last year, it involves a  secular ceremony with plenty of singing and poetry reading, some colourful rituals and then the fun begins with a meal, DJ and kids entertainers for everyone, we try and make it a fun day!"

Damien was talking to Stephen Donnelly, Fianna Fail health spokesperson about the HSE recruitment freeze as well as the protest taking place in Dublin on Saturday, the 13th April which Stephen says Fianna Fail are in support of the people over the need for a  second cath lab and 24/7 care.

There was also a powerful interview with a recovering alcoholic George "Georgie" Henderson who was giving his story of addiction, how he was able to combat it. George came in over a mentalist who was on the show last week who claimed that he could cure alcoholism. He does not believe that this is the case and says that in his view that addiction is a disease.
