On Tuesday's version of 'Déise Today', Damien was speaking to a Waterford based driving instructor Kieran Kennedy.

Kieran was on the show to discuss how claims of foul-smelling testers and a failure to conduct driving tests in Irish were among the numerous complaints which were received by the state last year by people who had gone on to fail their driving tests.

Kieran says that this type of unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable, especially for the people who might be very nervous going into their test.

"People are already nervous enough going into their test, the last thing they need is a tester who smells bad, it's very bad".

Also on the show was the discussion of the Waterford hurlers and their defeat yesterday to Limerick which put them out of the Munster Championship for the 2nd year in a row.

They have one more Munster ‘round game’ game to play against Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh next Saturday but, similar to last year; it’s relevant only to the Leesiders, who have won one and lost one of their opening two games.

Defeats by Clare and Tipperary left Waterford needing to beat Limerick in Walsh Park to have any chance of staying in the All-Ireland race, but an against-the-odds success didn’t materialise. Instead, their run without a championship win lengthened to eight games, extending back to the 2017 All-Ireland final defeat by Galway.

Also on the show was Una Dunphy and Paul Allen to discuss the visit of American President Donald Trump to Ireland in Doonbeg and whether the Irish people should be protesting his visit. Paul believes that this should not be the case while Una says that we should oppose the visit of Trump as the Irish people need to show their discontent with him.
