On Monday's Déise Today, Damien was joined in studio by three candidates who are all taking part in the upcoming European elections which are taking place on the 24th of May!
Damien was joined in studio by Malcolm Byrne of Fianna Fail, currently sitting MEP for Fine Gael Deirdre Clune as well as Green Party candidate Grace O'Sullivan.
There was a variety of discussion between the three candidates including topics such as the state of Rural Ireland, how to tackle climate change and also the problem of the far right which is slowly creeping into mainland Europe.
"The issue of the far right is something that needs to be addressed now in Europe in the parliament, and it needs to be solved now," said Fianna Fail candidate Malcolm Byrne.
